Dr. Ahmad Elkhatib has been practicing implant and cosmetic dentistry since 2003. He holds a Master’s degree in Oral Science (Implant Dentistry and Periodontics) from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, a Master Clinician in Implantology from Loma Linda University in the United States, and is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (DICOI) — one of the most prestigious recognitions in the field of implant dentistry.
After graduating from Alexandria University in Egypt in 2002, Dr. Elkhatib completed advanced surgical training and worked in the Middle East for six years. In 2008, he relocated to Australia, obtained his Australian dental registration, and has been practicing here ever since.
Since 2013, Dr. Elkhatib has built a solid and highly reputable practice in Sydney’s city centre, where he is known for delivering the highest standards of dental care. At his flagship clinic, Lumière Dental Centre, he is widely respected for transforming smiles and managing some of the most complex and advanced dental cases. While his focus lies in cosmetic and implant dentistry, he provides comprehensive care across all areas of general dentistry.
Now, Dr. Elkhatib has expanded his vision by establishing his second main rooms in the Southern Highlands, bringing with him the same cutting-edge technology, global expertise, and patient-centred philosophy. His mission is to make world-class dental care more accessible to the Highlands community, delivering exceptional outcomes even in the most challenging cases.
A passionate educator, Dr. Elkhatib lectures both nationally and internationally on advanced topics in implantology and periodontal surgery. He remains deeply committed to continuous education and regularly engages in postgraduate training to stay at the forefront of modern dental science.
Dr. Elkhatib is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID). He is a certified Invisalign® provider and an honoured Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (DICOI).
